Glens Falls is located in Warren County, at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountain Park.  The Adirondack Park was created in 1862 and encompasses over 6 million acres of land.  Almost half of the state park belongs to New York state and has been declared a "forever wild" nature preserve.

Dubbed "Hometown USA" in 1944 by Look Magazine, this upstate town offers plenty of cultural entertainment opportunities.  Local theatre, a symphony orchestra, children's or local history museums and art galleries provide visitors and residents with plenty of entertainment choices.
